About The Founder
Jemelle Williams is the founder of Urban Evolution Enterprise (UEE), an artist management firm working with Hip Hop Artist/Producer- Xolisa, Actor/Comedian/YouTuber- Senior Gum Boy and DJ/Vocalist/Producer, S-Quire of Better Blends Entertainment.
In addition, Williams is the executive director of YYZ HILIGHTZ, a boutique lifestyle media outlet, since 2012; He has acted as host/booker for the “Liive Thursdays” weekly live music showcase at Dazzling and Hapa Izakaya (2013-2015) and has hosted “ABC2RISE”, a community-based weekly event that connected emerging artists with established artists through panel discussions (2014).
Williams’ efforts in his Toronto community have been recognized through accolades such as the "Certificate of Recognition", for "his dedication to bringing awareness towards the social justice for children all over the world", offered by NDP MP Rathika Sitsabaiesan (2012), as well as the "Certificate of Recognition" as a role model for "his work as a musician and youth worker who is an inspiration to all of those who aspire to make a difference in the world." (The Honorable Mobina S.B. Jaffer, Q.C. Senator for British Columbia), offered by the Black Canadian Awards (2014). Jemelle Williams is also a proud alumni of the "Canada's Music Incubator Artist Management" program (2015).
